Sparkle Plenty
My latest dance outfit is made from fabric I picked up in Granada as a souvenier. It promises to be a showstopper, as you can see. This is the first outfit like this I've had to line, but of course the fabric is pretty scratchy. The StyleArc skirt calls for a yoke, and is meant to be made of a stretch knit. I substituted a stretch velvet in as close a color as I could get. The majority of the yoke had to be attached by hand, as I was marrying a stretch with a non-stretch material, and a lining. So this took more time than usual, but I think it was worth the effort. Hopefully it will fit well and dance well!
Oh...and I was honored to find myself highlighted in the StyleArc.com's website!
