I certainly don't like my pants skin tight, but I believe these are a little loose. They were meant to be a wearable muslin, but after I started cutting them out I noticed that this is an expensive silk/wool tweed! So I'm going to wear them; in fact I wore them today to my favorite restaurant, Chuy's. As it happens, four girlfriends from my sewing club all happen to have roots in the Southwest. Atlanta has a dearth of good Tex/Mex restaurants...in fact, this is it! Naturally we all love it and try to get there at least once a month. And today my friend and I found that it's only about ten minutes away from the best fabric store in Atlanta. This combo may be too much to bear, lol. Two of the ladies declined to be tempted, but of course I went. And there I said hello to Anthony Williams! I bought two pieces for tennis outfits and one piece for a dance outfit. That makes...oh, I don't know...50 or so outfits for dancing? (If you count those not made up yet, which of course I do.) I'm going to have to get over my addiction to bling, or sew a lot faster.
Anyway, back to the "Willow" pant. I am not crazy about this pattern but of course it is partly due to the fit. Too late I read a lot of raves for the "Wendy" pant from Style Arc. I also have the "Sailor Sue" palazzo pant pattern on my cutting table. As well as a number of other things. I have to decide what's up next.

They do look a little loose - but they look fab on you. The colour and fabric is great. Is there anyway you can take a bit off the sides? Or maybe a couple of darts? They do look great - very chic - and would look even better with out the looseness.
I am sorry you don't like the pants, but you still look wonderful. Can you bear taking them in? At least they won't end up at the back of the wardrobe, which might happen if you are not too keen on them.
I agree with Pauline. You must save that lovely fabric. Though the pants looks mighty fine to me - sort of that Katherine Hepburn type loose.
As someone who hasn't lived here but a few years, can you point me at that best fabric store in Atlanta?
I would also love to know where to get fabric in Atlanta :)
