Update on the pink dress

No photos.  I am going to have to take the lining out of the bodice; oh yay.  Why is it that we sewists obsess over fit to the degree we do?  I made this bodice out of my TNT pattern, tried it on before lining and did all the correct things.  But somehow the sleeves have changed the hang of the bodice just enough to drive me crazy, plus it is about one-half inch too long at the waist.  Last night I decided I hate the whole thing.  I also may hate it because, I shudder to think, this dress style simply does not suit my body.  Wah!  I have invested a lot of time in this thing for it to go to charity.
