Score!

This is a picture from a website selling mid-century modern furniture. This chair, for sale at $1,125.00, is an exact duplicate of an old, neglected chair I found in the basement of the Fawn Lane flip. I liked the lines and the comfort of the chair and rescued it. Of course the contractors and painters thought it was a piece of junk and put tools and paint cans, swung their muddy feet up on it, etc. I persisted in cleaning it up and used it in the staging of the house. I insisted on bringing it home and asked Harold to sand and stain the worn parts. When he was sanding it, he found the maker's name "Shaw Walker". So I looked it up on the internet, and sure enough, score one for my eye for design!
