Make it work in action

I'm not sure why my camera sometimes takes crisp pictures and sometimes they are blurry, like this one. I did double check the setting...well for the first picture. Anyway, I wore this dress tonight to a dance and got several compliments. I still think it's too short but Henry said there were a lot of shorter dresses there this evening. In fact he actually used the term "with godets" just to prove he's been paying attention. We really didn't have the best time tonight, however. Sometimes he's just a grouch, but he almost always criticizes my dancing and tonight was no different, so we left early. I think I have to make some time to take lessons. Grrrrr. One hates to be criticizes for something that is difficult to change...his problem with me is my failure to follow the beat. I am somewhat of the opinion that either you can follow the beat of the music or you can't, and lessons won't particularly help. However, lessons can help me feel more accomplished, and therefore more at ease, and hopefully the relaxation will help me follow the beat a little better. Or maybe it's just that he was a grouch.

Dress looks great on you - very dancy indeed! As for him being a grouch, men are just 'such men' sometimes...

I think this is a great dancing dress, in a fun print and with the flounce details. It does look wonderful on you. My problem is I hear the beat, but it takes my body longer than normal to react to it.

The dress is lovely !
As far as the dancing goes, I have absolutely no rhythm and I don't imagine any amount of lessons will help me LOL A dance class could teach me steps but if they changed the tune even slightly, I'd lose it in my head. My hubby dances with lots of rhythm and while he WOULD dance with me, he would likely end up with stomped on feet. I danced all night at my wedding - the dress hid everything my legs & feet were doing - I had a blast ! It is supposed to be fun after all, hope it gets better for you.

The dress is lovely--it makes you look like you are dancing even when standing still! I shall keep my thoughts about a partner who criticizes you while you are dancing to myself!
