I am teaching Henry's little granddaughter to sew. The local American Sewing Guild had a fashion show and wanted to showcase beginning/young sewers, and as my good friend was in charge, she asked me to help. Lily sewed this skirt and ironed on an embellishment to her purchased tee shirt. It was the first time she ever touched a sewing machine or an iron! She was a very good model...I just wasn't a very good photographer. After the show my friends Linda and Melda treated us both to a magnificent dinner for my birthday! Now Lily is all about sewing a Cinderella dress.
