Maybe I'll post some pictures soon...

Because I've been sewing a lot!  I'm leaving on a 6 week cruise next month and am frantically trying to organize  a wardrobe that will fit into one large and one small suitcase, that will give me plenty of variety in outfits, and also last through weather  extremes from San Juan beaches to the Atlantic Ocean in December...and must not forget dress nights on the ship!  Mostly, I'm sewing ponte as last pictured, with two or three or more tops that co-ordinate.  Fabric shopping has been intense and fun!  Here in Atlanta we have a "couture" fabric shop, the usual JoAnn's and Hancock's, and a modest little place called Cleaner's Depot.  We used to go there for zippers, mostly, and once in awhile find some silk or other unexpected little gem.  Well, apparently Cleaner's Depot woke up and when I went for a few zippers the other day, lo and behold they had expanded times 4 and have about 40 long rows of fabrics and very inexpensive prices!  Needless to say, I bulked up and my stash is now groaning.  But if I can sew all this stuff I should be properly attired for my vacation.
