It's always something when you sew...

I used to think I had a pretty good TNT pattern for a knit top, but struggled with the fit on pants.  Now I have a great TNT pants pattern (Style Arc) but the top is not so good.  I've lost some weight and that has something to do with it, but really it may be because, as I grow in my skills, I'm not as satisfied as I once was.  I have the new Pamela's Patterns twin set on my cutting table to try out for fit.  Fingers crossed!  We are off to a great friend's home for Easter Dinner, so I'm wearing a necklace I made.  I have a thing for crosses, but rarely wear them.  Today seemed appropriate though.

This is the great fabric I ordered from Emma One Sock awhile back.  I was surprised to see that I have made 9 outfits so far this year!  Of course the fabric is coming in at twice the rate I sew....

I am definately more critical of my fit now then Iwas 7 years ago. I think it is a natural progression for those of us who sew.

You look so happy and slim in the pictures of the last two outfits you posted. I love the colors and style of the skirt and top outfit. You are so right about fabric coming in at a faster rate than it can be sewn up.
