I have another contract on my Fawn Lane flip. The first one fell through due to the buyer's cold feet. The inspection was yesterday, so I am waiting with baited breath for the report to arrive. It occurred to me this morning that I have three reasons to be depressed lately. The Fawn Lane house has been quite a burden financially: next month it will be one full year since I bought it myself. So every month I have the mortgage, utilities and upkeep to pay on it. Then a couple of times a week I have to go over and make sure the bathrooms are clean, mop the hardwood floors, check the lights and doors. Thank goodness I bought so near my own house! But add that strain to Harold's illness, no income, and financial stress...yuck. So if this house closes next month it will be a huge relief.
