Proud by association

Okay, I'm not in any way related to the little girl who won this ribbon.  She is the daughter of my son's former wife's brother.  So I still regard myself as sort of a once-removed grandmother.   But she is such a little cutie, and has apparently won a blue ribbon in ballroom dancing and I could not be more proud.  I have been hinting and hinting that my own grandchildren would benefit from this sport, but so far with no avail.  If you look closely you will notice that the engraving is in Russian.
