Meeting Mimi G

Mimi G is just as pretty and even more petite in real life than she seems in her blog (although now that I look at the picture, I may be even shorter than she is, hmmm).  She had a "meet and greet" here in Atlanta today and hundreds attended.  It was a zoo and shorty that I am, I could not see or hear what was going on.  But I did hear "Those who have made what they're wearing today, come up front" so I got to be front and center.
I was wearing a jacket I made several seasons ago which was painstakingly fitted to my body.  But do you think I can find the pattern?  No.  This is the second time in a row I've lost a pattern, which certainly tells me something needs to be done about my pattern organization.

This event was held in a new bakery on Collier Road.  My GPS system took me the back way, which made it waayy too close to my house.  There were tiny cupcakes on hand, and I didn't even make it back to my car before I was noshing:

and of course had to take home a giant piece of chocolate cake, I even stopped by the grocery to buy milk to go with.
