Oh no, a fabric co-op!
Sooner or later this WILL become a sewing blog. Right now too many other things are going on in my life (see photos of Fawn Lane renovation). But of course I must still buy fabric...if not in a store, then online. And I have discovered fabric co-ops! Oh this is just what I need. I have ordered some Powerdry (no idea of how to sew on this fabric, but I plan some long sleeved tee shirts for fall). Then up came some fleece--I could see cherry red for a warm up suit. Next up was French terry. Well the most beautiful teal came up, must have four yards of that. I must stay away from all this fabric. DH and I had a little argument about how my "sewing room" is overtaking his "play room". My point is that he never uses his play room and his point is, "so what! My stuff is getting shoved around!" Men...if it isn't being used, it should be mine, all mine! The stash is shouting at me "What isn't getting used? Look over here!"

Hot Patterns Sugar Babe
If I ever learn to fit myself I should have a wonderful wardrobe. The Sugar Babe outfit was all ready for Mother's Day - church and breakfast with the family - but next time (if there is a next time for this pattern) I will cut the jacket a size smaller and make it out of a very gauzy material. Speaking of material: the stash grows and grows. I got some wonderful trims last week and now I have to find some sweater knits to make cardigan jackets for them...that means next fall. And I will barely get through what I have for summer before fall is here. Meanwhile, on the redo house front, I have met with some contractors and realize the urgent need to establish a timeline here. Gotta Get to Work!

More For The Stash
This hasn't even gotten as far as my sewing room. The black and white, from Georgeous Things fabrics, has little sparkles in it. Of course I am the sparkle queen, and this is calling out to be a wrap dress. Vogue patterns has a sale going on, so I ordered the wrap dress pattern and another Sandra Betzina top. I couldn't resist buying more poly/linen since it sews so easily and doesn't wrinkle. The dark teal is for a pair of my TNT KwikSew pants, the white & teal is for some sort of top. The teal lycra is going to be a first attempt at a swimming suit! I may not be doing much sewing or fabric shopping for awhile. I will have to work on planning the new renovation!
