We had a very nice dinner at a great upscale steakhouse with about sixteen in attendance. We were supposed to go over to Bill's afterwards to ring in the New Year, but I have had a bad headcold for the past couple of days and DH wasn't feeling too well either, so we bagged it about 10 pm and came home. We're not going to the party tomorrow, either. The host and hostess are leaving for a cruise next week and don't need any hint of germs to start their vacation! I am just as happy, being in that "don't care, just want to cozy up in my bed" mood. It is weird, though, how many New Year's Eves I have been ill. Mostly healthy all year long. Is this a hint? I don't really like late parties....
